Meet Our Team

I am a passionate second-year master’s student pursuing a master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Seton Hall University and later earned a Master’s in Public Administration from the same institution.

My desire to have a positive impact in my community led me to work in community youth programming in inner-city areas like Camden and Philadelphia, where I could focus on promoting holistic community health and wellness for children and families through creating programs surrounding nutrition, mental health, and physical fitness. My experience working with youth inspired me to pursue a career in counseling of mental health and wellness, where I could provide emotional support, guidance, and healthy coping mechanisms to individuals of all ages.

In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I was also a collegiate women’s basketball player at Seton Hall University. As an athlete, I recognized the value of mental health and the importance of learning healthy mental health techniques and coping skills from a young age. This experience has further motivated me to support others in their journey towards holistic well-being.

As a counselor in training, I value building a safe and inclusive space where clients can share their thoughts and feelings without judgment. I strongly value working with clients from diverse backgrounds and aim to be culturally sensitive while providing a perspective that validates and uplifts intersectional experiences. I am grounded in empathy, positive regard, and helping clients to explore their thought patterns and behaviors. I seek to help clients to amplify existing strengths and build upon them. I am dedicated to supporting clients in achieving their goals, overcoming challenges, and promoting emotional well-being.

Through my education and experience, I have developed a deep passion for helping individuals achieve their goals and overcome obstacles. I am excited to continue my journey as a Counseling intern and provide the highest quality care, support, and guidance to clients.
