I am a Resident in Counseling in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree majoring in Psychology and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling both from Capella University. I have experience working with clients struggling with addiction, mood disorders, anxiety and trauma. Through this work, I have been able to recognize that everyone, at some point in their lives, needs assistance navigating difficult periods.
My passion is centered on social equality, as well as promoting self-esteem and self-value for everyone. As a woman of color, I believe in encouraging and uplifting those that struggle with self-worth and have a desire to find their purpose. I strive to be an empathetic ear and to provide an opportunity for each of my clients to find healing and inner peace through introspection and psychoeducation. It is an honor to walk beside each of my clients on their path toward finding their best selves and leading healthy and fulfilling lives.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, cooking, and writing.
